Rend
A memcached proxy that manages data chunking and L1 / L2 caches
About
Rend is a memcached-compatible server and proxy designed to operate alongside a memcached process and an SSD-backed L2 cache. Written in Go, it supports handling numerous concurrent connections and communicates using a subset of memcached protocols. Rend is built to enhance caching efficiency by splitting incoming data into fixed-size chunks, addressing memory fragmentation issues, and is currently utilized in production environments.
