Twitter Image Pipeline è un framework semplificato per recuperare e memorizzare immagini in un'applicazione. Il concetto generale è che tutte le richieste per recuperare o memorizzare un'immagine passano attraverso una pipeline di immagini che racchiude il lavoro di verifica delle cache in memoria e di una cache su disco prima di recuperare l'immagine tramite la rete, oltre a mantenere le cache aggiornate e pulite.
