About
CompactGUI is a friendly interface that makes use of the underlying filesystem compression algorithms exposed by the Windows Overlay Filter (WOF) Driver, utilising high-performance compression that was first introduced in Windows 10. It allows compression of any files or folders (with a focus on games) to occur transparently, without any resultant performance loss and allowing large disk storage savings.
