Mokuro is designed for Japanese learners who wish to read manga in Japanese while utilizing a pop-up dictionary feature. It processes manga pages through text detection and OCR, generating a .mokuro file that contains the OCR results and metadata. Users can then load this file along with manga images in a web reader, which serves as both a manga reader and a catalog for processed series and volumes.
