How is "by department" different from browsing the full catalog?

The full catalog is organized by what a product does; this view is organized by who uses it. If you own "sales tooling" or "people ops" but don't know the category names engineers or vendors use, starting from your department gets you there faster.

What if a tool is useful to more than one department?

Most cross-functional tools — analytics, communication, project management — are listed under every department that commonly owns or uses them. You'll see the same product show up in more than one department view; that's intentional, not a duplicate.

My department isn't listed — where do I look instead?

Try the closest functional match, or browse by use case instead — that view is organized around the job to be done rather than an org chart, which covers gaps a fixed department list inevitably has.
